Daniel Stach, the famous presenter of the Hyde Park Civilizace programme focusing on science and society, received the Silver Medal of Masaryk University for his contribution to the popularisation of science and the cultivation of MU’s cooperation with Czech institutions.

When it comes to attracting postdoctoral researchers funded by European programmes, Masaryk University ranks among the top institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. In the latest call, 13 projects linked to the university were approved.
Universities are not only places of education. They are also communities of people who are able to support one another even in the most difficult times. Right now, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – one of Ukraine’s most important universities – needs our support. It has reached out to Czech universities with a request for help.
